Festival of Quilts is back for 2019 and we have some all new classes this time around! Almost all of our instructors' classes have already sold out, those listed below are all that remain. We recommend booking soon or you may miss out!

Paperless EPP: Super Easy Hexagons

Choose from 2 sessions:

Friday August 2 - 3:30pm
Sunday August 4 - 3:30pm

Come and create a fabric sample to make a bag, pillow or to add to a quilt. This technique is quick and lots of fun and super easy too. We will make a minimum 10 inch square of fabric covered with approximately 30 hexagons. Suitable for beginners new to the subject.

Take some scraps of wool fabric and some gorgeous threads and stitch yourself a beautiful little rose. You will be amazed at what you can achieve in a short time with a small amount of material. Want to try out some other stitches as well? Your kit includes enough material for three little projects as well as the frames to finish them. Suitable for any level.

Bobbinwork Bookwrap

Saturday August 3 - 1:30pm

Discover the fascinating technique of bobbinwork with WonderFil Razzle and Dazzle. Threads that can't be used in the needle of your machine but can be wound on your bobbin. Work upside down and add interesting texture to your work. Use utility and decorative stitches and see the extra dimension bobbinwork can add to your projects. We will make a bookwrap for a small notebook. Kit includes all materials(fabric, batting, thread and notebook) and cost £10 payable to the tutor on the day.
